The Recon 55XR is Fusion Thermal's breakthrough clip-on thermal device — engineered to transform any standard day scope into a high-performance thermal imaging system. Featuring the proprietary MORE (Magnification Optimizing Range Enhancement) optical system, the Recon 55XR allows operators to run significantly higher magnification than competing clip-on thermals — typically double what others allow — making it dramatically more practical for hunting and tactical use.

Supplied with two different eyepieces, the Recon 55XR functions as both a precision clip-on attachment and a standalone handheld thermal monocular for reconnaissance. The WAVE12 640×512 12-micron uncooled thermal sensor paired with a 55mm Arclight Ultra HD germanium objective lens delivers detection ranges up to 2,600 yards. Fusion Thermal's T3 three-button control system and KISS plain-English menu ensure fast, intuitive operation in any conditions. Four color palette modes, five gun profiles, and IP67 water/dust resistance complete the package.
